Pangandaran Air Show 2026 Returns to Celebrate Aviation and Strengthen Tourism, Culture and the Local Economy

Pangandaran, 1 September 2026 — Once again, the skies of Pangandaran are set to become the stage for a spectacular celebration of aviation as Pangandaran Air Show 2026 returns from 4–6 September 2026 at Susi International Beach Strip, Pangandaran.

Organised by Susi Air, Pangandaran Air Show is part of the airline’s commitment to bringing aviation closer to the community and creating a space where people can experience and enjoy the world of aviation. Pangandaran Air Show has become a meeting place for aviation communities, the local community, government, tourism stakeholders, and businesses. The close connection between Susi Air, aviation, and Pangandaran is also closely linked to Ibu Susi Pudjiastuti, Founder and CEO of Susi Air, who was born and raised in Pangandaran and has strong roots in the region.

This year’s event will welcome more than 60 aircraft and paramotors from aviation organisations, clubs, and communities across Indonesia. Over three days, visitors can look forward to an exciting combination of aerial performances, arts and culture, a local UMKM festival, coastal vegetation planting, aircraft walkarounds, and the opportunity to experience Pangandaran from the sky through Susi Air’s Joy Flight.

4 September 2026 – Coastal Vegetation Planting and Pesta Rakyat

The Pangandaran Air Show 2026 will begin on 4 September with a coastal vegetation planting activity at Susi International Beach Strip, in collaboration with Pandu Laut Nusantara. The planting activity will start at 15.00 WIB.

As the evening begins, come and enjoy Pesta Rakyat at Alun-Alun Paamprokan, starting at 18.30 WIB. This free concert will feature performances by local bands, followed by a headline performance from Slank. Don’t miss the chance to enjoy Ronggeng Gunung, a traditional art form from Pangandaran, as part of the evening’s celebration.

You won’t have to worry about finding food, drinks, or other needs during the event. Throughout the three-day Pangandaran Air Show 2026, the Festival UMKM will be open for visitors, offering a variety of local food, drinks, and products from businesses across Pangandaran. Come and enjoy the local flavours and products while supporting local businesses.

5 September 2026 – Main Airshow

Pangandaran Air Show 2026 will reach its main event.

Starting at 08.45 WIB, come and enjoy a variety of aerial performances, including aerobatics and other flying attractions performed by professional pilots and athletes from aviation clubs and communities across Indonesia. Visitors can experience the thrill of flying firsthand. Joy Flight will begin at 16.00 WIB, giving visitors the opportunity to enjoy the beauty of Pangandaran from above and see its coastline from a different perspective.

The chance to win a free Joy Flight seat was previously offered through the Giveaway Free Joy Flight, which closed on 26 August 2026. Eight winners will have the opportunity to join a Joy Flight with Susi Air during Pangandaran Air Show 2026.

The winners will be announced through the official Instagram accounts @pangandaranairshow and @susiairofficial. Make sure to follow both accounts so you don’t miss the winner announcement and the latest updates about Pangandaran Air Show 2026.

On the same day, visitors can also join the Public Walkaround from 17.00–18.00 WIB. Come and get a closer look at the aircraft, take photos, and experience the excitement of being around the aircraft up close.

6 September 2026 – Explore Pangandaran

On the final day, the participating aircraft will return to their respective home bases. While watching the aircraft depart, take the opportunity to explore Pangandaran and enjoy a variety of local food and products at the Festival UMKM.
